MOREPORK CORTEN STEEL

The New Zealand Morepork or Ruru is easily recognisable by its withering look and haunting call. This sound is why the Māori named it ‘Ruru’.

Not content with just sounding haunting, Moreporks can also turn their heads through 270 degrees!

This Morepork garden art is made from 2.5mm thick Corten® steel. Also known as weathering steel, it forms a protective rust coating over time giving your garden art a wonderful patina.

Ruru measures approximately 48cm high x 12cm wide including spike. For extra height, we recommend one of our garden stakes to give your garden art some extra lift.
